Gregory Scott "Gregg" Miller

Funeral services for Gregory “Gregg” Scott Miller, 55, of Lufkin, will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Stephen Lantis officiating. Interment will follow in the Bennett Cemetery near Apple Springs.

Mr. Miller was born October 8, 1958 in Lufkin, Texas to Mary Louise (Petway) and the late Billy R. Miller. He died Saturday, November 2, 2013 in a Lufkin hospital.

Mr. Miller was a sales representative for Sears, and had lived in Lufkin all his life. He loved to ride his Suzuki motorcycle with his friends and loved to work with electronics. Gregg loved to travel, especially to Europe, and go to air shows, no matter where they were held. He was devoted to his son and his mother. Mr. Miller was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include his son, Caden Scott Miller of Broaddus; mother, Mary Miller of Lufkin; sister, Debora K. Rao of Spring; aunt, Janelle Hill of Houston; girlfriend, Regina Evans of Lufkin; as well as a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Jan Miller.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
