Fern Bryan

Funeral services for Fern Bryan, 85, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roy Hall officiating. Interment will be in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mrs. Bryan was born May 16, 1928 in Jasper County, Illinois to the late Hattie (Shull) and George Washington LeMay. She died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Bryan had been employed at Wal-Mart as a Customer Associate for 23 years. Her hobbies included reading, cooking and entertaining, and playing Bunko and cards. She enjoyed family get-togethers and working.
Survivors include her husband, Maynard Bryan of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Diana Bryan of Lufkin, Kendel and Jacky Bryan of Henderson, Kentucky; grandchildren, Monica Bryan Brashear and husband Travis, Elizabeth Bryan Lopp and husband Mathew, all of The Woodlands, Veronica Bryan Walters and husband Damon of Huntington; Daniel Bryan and wife Shieryl of Carrollton, Valena Bryan of Nacogdoches, and Hannah Ruth Bryan of Lufkin; six great grandchildren; brother, Lowell LeMay and wife Wanda of Round Rock; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Monia LeMay; and brothers, Clifford LeMay, Harry LeMay and Pete LeMay.
