Lacy Leon Musick

Funeral services for Lacy Musick, 78, of Ratcliff, will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery near Ratcliff. Fellowship at the church will follow the interment.

Mr. Musick was born August 5, 1935 in Ratcliff, Texas to the late Alpha Jane (Luce) and Benjamin Franklin Musick. He died Monday, October 21, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Musick had worked for several air conditioning and heating contractors, and he had also been a plumber. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, hog hunting, and raising a garden. Mr. Musick was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and had lived in Ratcliff all his life.

Survivors include his daughters, Dell Ann Musick and Janie Musick, both of Ratcliff, his son and daughter-in-law, Curtis Lynn and Stacy Musick of Centralia; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, R.P. Musick and James Musick; sister, Beatrice Smith; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Ann Musick; sons, Lacy Young Musick and Billy Ray Musick; and sons-in-law, Marvin Oquist and Dennis Dowdy.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Musick, Cory Musick, Steven Musick, Ernest Ashford, Jimmy File and Robert Smith.

Honorary pallbearer will be Drew Musick.
