L.W. Crisp

Visitation for L.W. Crisp, 87, of San Antonio, formerly of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carroway Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held in the Lyons Municipal Cemetery in Lyons, Kansas.

Mr. Crisp was born May 27, 1926 in Mountain Grove, Missouri to Virgil and Virgie (Benton) Crisp, and died Sunday, September 22, 2013 in San Antonio.

A resident of Lufkin from 1993-2007, Mr. Crisp had resided in San Antonio for six years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and had been a farmer of corn, milo and wheat while residing in Missouri. Mr. Crisp was a beloved husband, son and brother. He enjoyed his family and will be missed by many.

Survivors include his sister, Betty L. Crisp of California; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dorothy Crisp.
