Phyllis Ann Capps

Funeral services for Phyllis Ann Capps, 61, of Diboll “and What Not” will be held Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ronnie Coleman and Brother Steve Comstock officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Capps was born October 23, 1951 in Lufkin, Texas to Arthur M. and Kyle Marie (Pickle) Arnold, and died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in a Longview hospital. She resided in Diboll most of her life and was of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors include her partner, Ken Barfield of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Lauren Capps of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Matt Hughes of Corrigan; grandchildren, Tristan Capps, Taylor Handley, Briley Hughes, Slade Brown, Lexie Brown, Sadie Lambert, Connor Lambert and Caden Lambert; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and C.W. Loftin of Diboll; brother and sister-in-law, Art and Rene Arnold of Diboll; her extended family, Maegan and Tony Brown, Cody and Brent Lambert, and Shay Barfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sweet and loving husband, Hickey E. Capps; and nephew, Jacob Arnold.

Pallbearers will be Donald Colture, Russell Julian, Shawn McGaughey, Brent McGaughey, Kyle Willis, Nathaniel “Chop” Thompson, Bradley “Lukey” Smith and Mickey Shelley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tristan E. Capps, Slade Brown, Connor Lambert, Caden Lambert, Rodney Willis, Sam Coleman, Jr., Jerry Matchett and Robert Lynn Capps.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the services.
