Geneva Hallmark Spivey

Funeral services for Geneva Hallmark Spivey, 86, of Diboll will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Brother Keith Nash officiating. Interment will follow the services.

Mrs. Spivey was born April 28, 1927 in Houston County, Texas, and died Monday, September 23, 2013 in a Crockett hospital.

Geneva was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her pride and joy were her two sons and five granddaughters. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Diboll, and had resided in Diboll most of her life.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Carol Spivey of Corrigan and Gregg and Lori Spivey of Grapeland; granddaughters, Jennifer Spivey, Megan Spivey, Melanie Spivey, Ashley Spivey and Emily Spivey; sister, Dianne Standley of Pollok; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Spivey was preceded in death by her father, Orville Douglas Hallmark, Sr.; mother, Hettie (Lenderman) Hallmark; husband, Paul Spivey; brothers, Orville Douglas Hallmark, Jr. (WWII), Harold Hallmark and Gene Hallmark; and sister, Virginia Hallmark Baker.
