Georgia Joyce (Bollier) Hill

Memorial services for Georgia Joyce (Bollier) Hill, 93, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lonnie Crawford officiating.

Mrs. Hill was born July 4, 1920 in Jamestown, Louisiana to Walter Joel and Ruth (McGahee) Bollier, and died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in a local nursing home. She had resided in Lufkin since 1943, and owned Joyce’s Ceramic Shop for 30 plus years. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Riverside Church in Milam.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tim M. and Michele Hill of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra Ruth and Lonnie Crawford, Georgia Ann and Wayne Neal, and Loula Janelle Hill, all of Lufkin; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward Bollier of Apple Springs, Grady Bollier of Houston, Jerry Bollier of California and Weldon Bollier of Houston; sisters, Mable Singletary of Trinity and Charlene Pierce of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, T.L. Hill; brothers, Willard, Dale and Kenneth Bollier; and sister, Elender Barnes.
