Mandi Shae Clark

Graveside services for Mandi Shae Clark, 25, of Burke, will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery with Fritzi Glover Strowmatt officiating.

Mandi was born August 5, 1988 in Houston, Texas, and died Friday, August 23, 2013 in a Tyler hospital. Mandi was not expected to make it through the weekend that she was born, and at the most, not more than six months. God blessed us with twenty-five more years. Mandi touched lives, and she grew our family with the many healthcare professionals that cared for her. Mandi made sure that she and her nurses loved the movie “Major Payne” over and over and over. Mandi had resided in Burke all of her life and attended Lufkin First Assembly.

Survivors include her parents, Wayne and Cindi Clark of Burke; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.

Mandi was preceded in death by her older sister, Brandi Clark; a baby brother; special uncle, Robert Hardee; grandparents, James and Betty Welch, Coy Clark, Erma and L.B. Neyland, Lois Shoemaker, and Elvin Hardee; and special grandma, Louise Stewart.

Pallbearers will be Jessica Jones, Jessica Gossett, C.C. Ayers, Brenda Ramos, Cyndi Poindexter, Auroa Mireles, Kaytlyn Johnson, Dina Tristan, and Lindsay Burks. Honorary pallbearer will be Ceciley Bridges.

The family extends a special thanks to her wonderful doctor, Dr. Taskar, and her staff.
