Joseph Charles Cassels

Graveside services for Joseph Charles Cassels, 51, of Zavalla will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fielder Cemetery.

Mr. Cassels was born August 10, 1961 in Wurzburg, Germany and died Friday, August 9, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Cassels served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired plumber. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father, Wayne Cassels; son, Brandon Charles Cassels; nieces, Leah Herring and Crystal Cassels; and nephew, Kenneth Cassels.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley (Stephens) Cassels, and brother, Kenneth Wayne Cassels.
