Janet Lynn (Morton) Puryear

Memorial services for Janet Lynn (Morton) Puryear, 60, of Tomball, will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Puryear was born March 3, 1953 at the Bergstrom Air Force Base, Austin, Texas to the late Ruth (Menefee) and J.B. Morton. She died Friday, August 9, 2013 in a Tomball hospital.

Mrs. Puryear was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed doing craft work, and loved raising her family and spending time with her granddaughters.

Survivors include her husband, George Puryear; daughter, Gina Puryear; son, Michael Puryear; granddaughters, Katie Puryear and Emilie Puryear; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine and Gayland Wallace, Mary Ann and Warren Gammel; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Troy and Eunice Morton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
