Johnnie Francis Wallace

Funeral services for Johnnie Francis Wallace, 81, of Huntington, will be held Monday, July 29, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Wade McKinney and Lisa McKinney officiating. Interment will follow in the Sims/Rocky Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Wallace was born April 5, 1932 in Ewing, Texas to the late Gertrude Frances (Schoubroek) and Veler Johnson. She died Friday, July 26, 2013 in a Lufkin hospital.

Mrs. Wallace was a homemaker and a beloved mother. She loved her family and friends and always considered being a mother as her main job. Mrs. Wallace loved to read. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Bridgett and James Squyres of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Beverly Wallace of Huntington; and other relatives.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Randy Birdwell, Tim Johnson, Dean Mosley, Robert Pope, Rodney Wallace and Randy Whittemore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Marberry and Jimmy Don Marberry.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon at the funeral home in Huntington.
