Tim Headley

Funeral services for Tim Headley, 41, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastview United Pentecostal Church with Brother David Hunt officiating. Dr. Edward Sharrer will give the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.

Mr. Headley was born December 12, 1971 in Glen Dale, West Virginia, and died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at his residence. He had resided in Lufkin for 18 years. Mr. Headley was a 1990 graduate of Paden City High School in West Virginia. He was a Physicians’ Assistant in the Cardiovascular Surgery Unit at Woodland Heights Medical Center. Mr. Headley was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Paden City, West Virginia. He loved cooking, fishing, and going to the lake.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Headley of Lufkin; daughters, Maci Jane Headley, Emma Headley, both of Lufkin, and Alivia McEldowney of Paden City, West Virginia; parents, Saundra (Lucas) and Keith Headley of Paden City, West Virginia; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Amy Headley of San Francisco, California; grandparents, David and Patricia Lucas of Sisterville, West Virginia; mother-in-law, Donna Bennefield of Lufkin; grandparents-in-law, Marvin Ray Bennefield of San Augustine, Claudine and Ed Burks, and Raymond and Margie Seaman, all of Lufkin; great-grandparents-in-law, Odell Plummer of Lufkin and Dora Lee Bennefield of San Augustine; sister-in-laws and brother-in-law, Diane and Chris Rodriguez and Jennifer Pittman, all of Lufkin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, AJ and Allison Bennefield of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doris Wise Lucas and Ulysses and Bessie Snider Headley; uncle, Timothy Morrise Lucas; and father-in-law, Anthony Jay Bennefield.

Pallbearers will be Ted Lovett, Daniel Testyon, Scott Stone, Max Dickinson, Ryan Smith and Steve Evans.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Daily, Christopher Rodriguez, AJ Bennefield, David Davlin and Gary Waller.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
