Graveside services for Cynthia (Salmon) Womack, 73, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lynches Chapel Cemetery near Alto with Brother Jerry Anderson and Brother Will Stambaugh officiating.
Mrs. Womack was born January 12, 1940 in Alto, Texas to the late Anna (Burrows) and Ray Salmon. She died Monday, June 24, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Womack was a retired Loan Officer for Angelina Savings Bank. She was a member of the Homer United Methodist Church. She enjoyed flowers and doing yard work, sewing (especially for school drill teams and cheerleaders), and working crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her son, David Womack of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Trisha and Chris Hruzek of Austin; sisters and brother-in-law, Sarah Weatherby of Baytown, Phyllis and Kenneth Burnett of Huntington; grandson, Parker Hruzek of Austin; granddaughter, Kaylan Womack of La Porte; as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, James Weatherby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904 or to Agape Home Health, 1001 Ellis Avenue, Suite B, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
