Benny C. Lovett

Memorial services for Benny C. Lovett, 66, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Robert Gibbo officiating. A private burial service will be held in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park prior to the services.

Mr. Lovett was born February 26, 1947 in Lufkin, Texas to G.B. and Mary Alice (Lazerine) Lovett, and died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at his residence. He was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and retired from Southland Paper Mill.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Shelley Lovett of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Shalene and Richard Saad of Houston; grandchildren, Krystal Kramer, Danielle Kramer and R.J. Saad; great-grandson, Tristan Goeritz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Pam Lovett and Glenn and Mona Lovett, all of Lufkin; nieces, nephews and their spouses, Rachelle and Bubba Nevills of Lufkin, Leslie and Robert Gibbo of Longview, April and Kenneth Evans of Lufkin, Brandon and Angela Lovett of Dallas and Baylen Lovett of Lufkin; and numerous friends, family and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Carlton “Mutt” Pouland, Steve Pavlic, Tim Rodrigues, Gary Wayne Clark and Bubba Nevills.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Lovett, Glenn Lovett, Baylen Lovett and Brandon Lovett.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
