Peggy Allen Davidson Fuller

Funeral services for Peggy Allen Davidson Fuller, 83, of Lufkin will be held Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Fuller was born March 17, 1930 in Lufkin (Allentown), Texas to Charles William and Missouri (Heaton) Allen, and died Monday, July 8, 2013 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Fuller was a beautiful person who lived a beautiful life. Always a loving and supportive mother, a doting and proud grandmother, a caring sister and a loyal and trustworthy friend, Peggy lived her life to the fullest. She was an avid Bridge player and loved nothing more than reading a good book. Mrs. Fuller enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was always an active spectator of her daughter’s and grandson’s endeavors. She had resided in Hemphill and Lufkin and was a former member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Lufkin, First Baptist Church in Hemphill, Hemphill Garden Club and Crown Colony Country Club. The family of Mrs. Fuller especially thanks Sandy Wood for her care and friendship to Peggy and her entire family.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Davidson Wilson of Houston; grandson, Zachary James Wilson of Dallas; sisters and brother-in-law, Billie Willmon of Lufkin and Jimmie and K.B. Reynolds of Allentown; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.O. “Junior” Davidson and husband Thomas Deas Fuller, Sr.; brothers, Otis Tucker, Dewitt Allen and Joe Allen; sisters, Ann Watts, Jewell Tucker McCall, Dale Dempsey and Maxine Croom; and son-in-law, James Wilson III.

Pallbearers will be Bob Johniken, Rodney Johniken, Craig Johniken, Michael Willmon, Danny Brown, John Martin, Steve Allen and Mark Allen.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
