Bonnie Jean Mauck Ryan

Bonnie Jean Mauck Ryan, 91, of Houston, born August 22, 1921 in Lyons, Kansas, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013 in Lufkin. Private services will be held later in Houston. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ryan was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Wilson Mauck and Cora Viola Blair Mauck; her husband, George William Ryan; and five brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Champion; grandsons, Michael Scott Champion, Alan Ray Champion and wife Tabby of Columbus, Georgia, and Mark Dow Champion and wife Mary; great grandchildren, Ammie Marie Pennington, Christopher Ryan Champion, Heather Elizabeth Taylor, Joshua Hunter Champion, Sara Morgan Champion, Alexander Lee Champion, William James Champion, Samuel Wheeler Wilbanks, Gaebryel Braun Wilbanks, and Daniel Dane Wilbanks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Bonnie may be made to St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 1656 Blalock, Houston, Texas 77055.
