Graveside services for Linda Darlene Irvin, 67, of Huntington will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Cemetery with Brother Calvin Kersh officiating.
Mrs. Irvin was born April 16, 1946 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Charlie and Geraldine (Sullivant) Boast, and died Monday, June 10, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Irvin graduated from Whitehall High School in Whitehall, Arkansas. She enjoyed woodworking, fishing, sewing, needlepoint, crocheting and painting. She was a member of the Lala Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Lee Irvin, Sr. of Huntington; sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny Lee Irvin, Jr., Charlie Andrew and Leah Irvin, all of Sheridan, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Benny Ashcraft of Huntington; granddaughters who were raised as her children, Stormie Irvin and Noell Irvin, both of Huntington; nine grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Gene Davis of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Geraldine Boast; and sister, Charlotte Boast.
