Funeral services for Sarah Lee Brunner, 71, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Daniel Dow officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesville Cemetery.

Mrs. Brunner was born August 14, 1941 in Lufkin, Texas to Jessie Lee and Mary Alice (Phillips) Stuart, and died Saturday, June 8, 2013 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Brunner had resided in Huntington most of her life. She loved to cook and was known for her chocolate chip cookies. She also enjoyed staying in touch with her friends and family and was known for chatting on the phone. Mrs. Brunner was a member of the Huntington Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, David Brunner of Huntington; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Robert Lindsey of Huntington and Donna and Gregg Parker of Allen; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Stefanie Brunner of Huntington; grandchildren, Jordan Brunner, Allison Brunner, Scott Brunner, Marlee Lindsey, Matt Lindsey, all of Huntington, Cody Jones of Irving, Meagan Jones, Ryan Jones, and Meghan Parker, all of Allen; great-grandsons, Cade Jones of Allen and Grayson Jones of Plano; sister, Sharon Allen of Huntington; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gloria Wilkerson.

Pallbearers will be Cody Jones, Ryan Jones, Matt Lindsey, Scott Brunner, Bryan Anglin and Sherman Thomas.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
