Donny Kevin Kirtley

Funeral services for Donny Kevin Kirtley, 48, of Lufkin will be held Friday, June 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Harmony Hill Baptist Church with Dr. John W. Greene and Pastor Don Lofton officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Kirtley was born December 2, 1964 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in a local hospital. He was a 1983 graduate of Central High School and owned and operated Texas Tradition Molds and Texas Shaved Ice. He loved his family and friends, and enjoyed farming and ham radioing. He never met a stranger, and always made people feel accepted, no matter what walk of life they were from. Mr. Kirtley was a member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Kirtley of Lufkin; son, Travis Kirtley of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Kalob Bohall of Lufkin; and grandchildren, Emma and Jakob Bohall of Lufkin.

Pallbearers will be Dale Hill, Mike Stokes, Eric Havard, Travis Kirtley, Greg Pierce and George McMullen.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Harmony Hill Baptist Church.
