Mario T. Moreno

Funeral services for Mario T. Moreno, 56, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor Marcos Elizando officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Moreno was born September 27, 1956 in Matamoros, Mexico. He died Thursday, May 30, 2013 in a Houston hospital.

Mr. Moreno had lived in Lufkin most of his life. He was employed as a steel worker at Texas Foundry. Mr. Moreno enjoyed baseball, music and trucks.

Survivors include his parents, Pascual M. and Maria Terrazas Moreno of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alma Yolanda Moreno Vasquez and Jose A. Vasquez of Pharr, Magdalena Moreno Puente and Hector Humberto Puente of Celaya, Mexico; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rosalio Moreno and Teresa C. Moreno of Lufkin, Jose Ricardo Moreno of Lufkin, Sergio Paz Moreno and Evangelina Moreno of Lufkin, Flor E. Moreno of Lufkin, Alejandro T. Moreno and Maria G. Moreno of Diboll, and Julio C. Moreno and Maria de los Angeles Perez of Lufkin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Efren C. Moreno, Rosalio Moreno, Jose Ricardo Moreno, Sergio Paz Moreno, Flor E. Moreno, Alejandro T. Moreno and Julio C. Moreno.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
