Atricia Ann Rush

Funeral services for Atricia Ann Rush, 67, of Huntington will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Huntington First Baptist Church with Dr. Darryl Smith and Brother Neil Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesville Cemetery.

Mrs. Rush was born July 5, 1945 in Gainesville, Texas, and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in a local nursing home. She had resided in Huntington since 1998. Mrs. Rush enjoyed cross stitching, cooking and baking. She was a member of the Huntington First Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday school class.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Rush of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, David Lee and Kimberly Rush of Deer Park; son, David Ray Rush of Huntington; daughters, Tina Barnes and Tiffany Rice, both of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Morgan and John David Rush, both of Deer Park, Heather Barnes, Kaylee, Britney and Holly Walters, all of Portland, Oregon; and great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Serena, Zack and Tyler Rice, all of Portland, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy Fitzhugh and Myrtle (Evans) Burdett.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Friendship Sunday school class at Huntington First Baptist Church.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Carroway Funeral Home in Huntington.
