Graveside services for Frank Reeves, 80, of Huntington will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sims (Rocky Hill) Cemetery with Reverend Calvin Kersh officiating.
Mr. Reeves was born December 7, 1932 in Huntington, Texas to Homer Grady and Rosie A. (Arnold) Reeves, and died Thursday, May 9, 2013 in a local hospital.
Mr. Reeves resided in Huntington most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Texas Foundries after more than 40 years of employment. Mr. Reeves loved playing 42, hunting, and fishing. He liked to fellowship with people and had an awesome sense of humor. Mr. Reeves was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Marilee Reeves of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Harry Hammond of Pollok and Melanie and Shane Kolb of Lufkin; grandchildren, Laura Koch and husband David of the Memorial area of Houston, Cassidy Reeves of Maui, Hawaii, Austin Cloonan of Los Angeles, California, Kelly Weaver and husband Frank of Huntington, Austin Kolb and Alyssa Kolb, both of Lufkin; great-granddaughter, Kimberly Koch of the Memorial area of Houston; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Reeves; brothers, W.C. Reeves and Bill Reeves; and sisters, Dezzie Conner and Verline Boyett.
