Funeral services for Robbie Ware Satterwhite, 61, of Pollok will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cross Timbers Cowboy Church with Pastor Ford Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery.
Mrs. Satterwhite was born October 30, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to Orlin and Irene Ware, and died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in a local hospital. She had resided in Pollok for more than 20 years.
Mrs. Satterwhite was employed in the accounting department of the Daily Sentinel for 5 years. She was an avid Astros fan. She enjoyed crocheting and loved to fish. She loved her family and was always smiling. Mrs. Satterwhite was a member of the Cross Timbers Cowboy Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Satterwhite of Pollok; daughter, Dana Berney of Nacogdoches; son and daughter-in-law, George and Lori Berney of Lewisville; grandchildren, Lexi Berney and George Berney III; stepchildren and their spouses, Jesi Satterwhite and John Malloy of Nacogdoches, Cliff Satterwhite and Deanna Walker of Alachua, Florida, Misty and Jerry Black of Broaddus and Wyndi and Brian Cage of Nacogdoches; step-grandchildren, Andrew and Kayla Williams, Hailey Cage, Lesli Williams, Kimberly Bulls, Deacon Black, Austin and Avery Malloy; two step-great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kristi and Andy Vincent of Lynn Haven, Florida and Sandra and Lyn Breeland of Dallas; brothers and sister-in-law, Rick Ware of Canton and Dale and Ginger Ware of Hillsboro; mother-in-law, Opal Satterwhite of Nacogdoches; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Lana Satterwhite of Huxley, Mike and Sue Satterwhite of Saginaw, Michigan and Susan Satterwhite of Nacogdoches; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Beverly Norrell and Doris Murdock; and father-in-law, Bo Satterwhite.
Pallbearers will be Bill Hall, Lee Redfern, Jerry Beeson, David Beeson, Alton Knight and Steven Knight.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Women’s Ministry Team at Cross Timbers Cowboy Church.
