Charles Ross “Chuck” Reynolds, 59, of Lufkin died Saturday, April 13, 2013 at his residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Reynolds was born November 6, 1953 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Charlie and Nona (Perkins) Reynolds. He graduated from Lufkin High School in 1972 and Stephen F. Austin State University in 1979. Mr. Reynolds was a purchaser at Lufkin Industries for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Mr. Reynolds was a member of the First United Methodist Church Lufkin.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Reynolds of Lufkin; sons, Kyle Reynolds of DeQueen, Arkansas and Ross Reynolds of Dallas; sister, Judy Nall of Lufkin; mother-in-law, Martha Schmeltekopf of Lufkin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve and Martha Althaus of Austin; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, June Reynolds Phelps; father-in-law, Herbert Althaus; and brothers-in-law, Gene Nall, Mark Althaus and Tim Althaus.
