Bill Trout

June 19, 1931 — April 8, 2013

Memorial services for Bill Trout, 81, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Lufkin with Reverend Brian Wiggins officiating. A reception will follow the services in the church fellowship hall.

Mr. Trout was born June 19, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Sophie (Moseley) and Walter W. Trout, Sr., and died Monday, April 8, 2013 at his residence. He graduated from Lufkin High School and the University of Texas, and retired from Lufkin Industries after a lifetime of service. Mr. Trout served his country in the United States Army. He loved his family and his church.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Wanda Skipper Trout; children, Barbara Corbett, William Trout III, Charles Trout, George Trout and wife Kristen Trout, Janet Kennedy and husband Mark Kennedy, Becky Oates and husband Richard Oates, and Scott Milliff; grandchildren, Kenneth and Stephen Corbett, Addie Trout, Rebecca Hunt, Jennifer Dwire, Michael Oates, and Daniel Oates; seven great-grandchildren; and sister and brother-in-law, Sophie and Henry Wetzel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Gaston Trout; and sister, Mildred Rouse.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Rich, Dick McKay, James Gibbs, Joseph Tatum, Tom Tatum and Harold Morris.
