Mary Ann Musick

Funeral services for Mary Ann Musick, 73, of Ratcliff will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Houston County. There will be a fellowship following the interment at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Mrs. Musick was born July 28, 1939 in Wells, Texas to the late Young and Juanita (Loving) Hendry, and died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in a local hospital. She had resided in Ratcliff for 36 years. Mrs. Musick was a dietician with Woodland Heights Hospital. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, quilting, crocheting, and playing Bingo. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Lacy Leon Musick of Ratcliff; daughters, Dell Ann Musick Oquist and Jannie Musick, both of Ratcliff; son, Curtis Leon Musick of Centralia; 12 grandchildren; brother, Billy Joe Hendry of Hudson; sister, Louise Hendry of Apple Springs; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, Billy Ray Musick and Lacy Young Musick.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Musick, Jonathan Musick, Curtis Musick, Corey Musick, Earnest Ashford and Jimmy File.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
