Funeral services for Robert H. Manley, 75, of Hudson will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Simpson Cemetery.

Mr. Manley was born April 5, 1937 in Cherokee County, Texas to the late John J. "Jack" and Velma (Thompson) Manley, and died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Manley was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. He retired from Texas Foundries after 32 years of employment. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed watching baseball and football. Mr. Manley was a member of Lufkin's First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nelda Manley of Hudson; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Kelly Manley of Hudson; grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Amber and Katelyn Manley, all of Hudson; sister, Beverly Haskins of Lufkin; brother, Ray Manley of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Robyn Renee Manley.

Pallbearers will be Edward Williams, Jason Williams, Glenn Haskins, Bradley Haskins, Tracy Manley and Randy Turner.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
