Jenny Nell Griffin

Funeral services for Jenny Nell Griffin, 52, of Lufkin will be held Monday, February 18, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Captain John Branscum officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesville Cemetery.

Mrs. Griffin was born December 26, 1960 in Lufkin, Texas to Morris Ray and Mary Alice (Sharp) Harrison, and died Friday, February 15, 2013 at her residence. She was a lifetime resident of Lufkin. Mrs. Griffin volunteered with the Salvation Army and was a member and Sunday school teacher at the Salvation Army Church.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Joe D. Griffin of Lufkin; daughters and son-in-law, Sarah Griffin of Lufkin and Emily and Adrian Diaz of Austin; son, Danny Griffin of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Judy Harrison of Milam; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandra Gail Wilson; and brother, Jeffery Harrison.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Wilson, Robert Tubbs, David Tubbs, Blake Wilson, Christian Griffin and Jacob Griffin.

Honorary pallbearer will be Casey Wilson.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Bob Kistler and to Hospice in the Pines for their tender loving care.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
