Orville Bryce

Funeral services for Orville Bryce, 82, of Diboll will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Byrd and Brother Keith Nash officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Bryce was born November 1, 1930 in Shelby County, Texas to William Earnest and Julie Elisabeth (Smith) Bryce, and died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in a local hospital. He resided in Diboll most of his life. Mr. Bryce served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from American General Insurance. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean (Goins) Bryce; daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Larry Byrd, Belinda and Doug Bergman, and Sharon and Luis Rivera; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Pam Bryce, David and Stacey Bryce, and Jerry and Davi Bryce; grandchildren, Stephanie Ray, Michael and Candice Bergman, Chris and April Byrd, Zachary and Gregory Bryce, Jacob and McKensi Bryce, Luis, Isabel and Joshua Rivera and T.J. Williams; great-grandchildren; Connor and Kelton Ray, Alexander Byrd, Nevaeh, Skylar and Guage Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Mattie Sue and Lloyd Bryan; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wylma Nash; brothers, Hubert, Clarence Hulen (Bill), and Earnest James Bryce; nieces, Beth Henderson and Patsy Bryce; and nephews, Jimmy Bryce and Don Bryce.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Bryce's nephews: Carrol Nash, James Alton Minton, Ken Yates, Troy Nash, Doug Harry and Benjamin Goins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Woody Luce, T.J. Williams, Zachary Bryce, Kenny Goins, Michael Bergman and Nathan Williams.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
