Kenneth Stanford

Graveside services for Kenneth Stanford, 62, of Pollok, will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Cemetery with Chaplain Greg Friejo officiating.

Mr. Stanford was born June 20, 1950 in Gregg County, Texas to Herbert and Maggie (Carr) Stanford. He died Thursday, February 7, 2013 in a Lufkin hospice facility.

Kenneth was a gentle and loving man. He enjoyed being with his friends and watching sports on television, especially basketball. Kenneth also enjoyed listening to music and looking through magazines. He not only enjoyed, but loved, sweet desserts. Kenneth was loved by many, and his presence will be missed by all at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center.

He is survived by his sister, Laura Tolbert; his brother, Therman Stanford; and numerous friends.
