Shirley Faye Sullivan

January 22, 1941 — February 7, 2013

Funeral services for Shirley Faye Sullivan, 72, of Wells, will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Ms. Sullivan was born January 22, 1941 in Houston, Texas to the late Ella Mae (Goodwin) and Robert Milburn Williams. She died Thursday, February 7, 2013 in a Baytown nursing facility.

Ms. Sullivan was a retired unit secretary for Memorial Hospital. She loved life, enjoyed sewing, and loved her family dearly. She was a person who could do anything she put her mind to. Ms. Sullivan was of the Baptist faith. Formerly a longtime resident of Houston, she had resided in Wells for 20 years and lived with her daughter in Beach City for the last six years.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Tammie Sullivan, Deborah and Scott Bettes; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Anzhelika Sullivan; grandchildren, Rhianna Sullivan and Michael Sullivan; great granddaughter, Brielle Rivera; brother and sister-in-law, Mureal and Judy Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Alene and Hugh Peek; father of her children, Steve Sullivan; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceding Ms. Sullivan in death were her parents; two sisters, Eluise Eckenrode and Louise Evans; and grandson, Ryan Sullivan.

Pallbearers will be William Janisch, Jerry Peek, Derek Peek, Charles Johnson, Greg Williams and Kenneth Tucker.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home in Lufkin.
