Alice Blake

Funeral services for Alice Blake, 60, of Silsbee will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Matt Tatum officiating. Interment will follow in the Kitchens Cemetery.

Mrs. Blake was born July 29, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Leon and Lula (Havard) Blake, and died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in a Beaumont hospital. She enjoyed fishing, camping and being in the outdoors, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a Non-Denominational Christian.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Tanton of Silsbee; sons, Terry Rhodes of Silsbee, Jesse Hooks of Zavalla and Scotty Hooks of Silsbee; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Rosalee Blake of Huntington; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Hooks, Zane Hooks, Jason Hooks, Jace Hooks, James Tanton and Brandon Rowinsky.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning prior to the funeral services.
