Clyde "Sawdaddy" Jack Anderson

Funeral services for Clyde Jack "Sawdaddy" Anderson, 57, of Huntington will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Elzine Strong and Brother Charles Herrington officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesville Cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was born October 15, 1955 in Huntington, Texas to Gay Nell (Roberts) and Carl Anderson, Jr., and died Monday, February 4, 2013 in Livingston. He was employed with PCL Ironworkers, and had been a logger for more than 30 years. Mr. Anderson enjoyed fishing, skating, baseball, gardening, riding motorcycles, traveling, riding theme park rides and playing Guitar Hero. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family. He loved life, and was a witness to everyone he encountered. Mr. Anderson was of the Non-Denominational Christian faith.

Survivors include his fiancée, Paula Vashon of Livingston; sons and daughters-in-law, Carl Tracy Anderson and Ashley Landry of Baytown, Nathan Douglas Anderson of Huntington, and Aaron Anderson and Miranda Soper of Blythe, California; 12 grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn Carroll and John Speights of Goodrich and Jeannine and David Harkins of Huntington; mother-in-law, Mary Hill of Diboll; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Glenda Faye "Dinky" Herrington; brother, Thomas H. Anderson; and ex-wife, Sharon Denise Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Andy Herrington, Truman Havard, David Scott Holcomb, John Paul Sinclair, Brian Massey, Chris Herrington, Jason Holcomb and Michael Holcomb.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Harkins and Danny Eddings.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
