Micah Shea Thompson

Funeral services for Micah Shea Thompson, 42, of Huntington will be held Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Dr. Darryl Smith and Brother Dwayne Greenwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery.

Micah was born March 13, 1969 in Lufkin, Texas to Rita Ann (Coleman) and Michael Don Thompson, and died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in a local hospital.

Micah was a lifetime resident of Huntington and was a former employee of Brookshire Brothers. She loved her dog, Dawaylla Jolene, and enjoyed being outdoors and going to the beach. Even after her injuries, Micah's faith in the Lord was just as strong and amazing as ever. She was a member of the Huntington First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Rita and Jerry Kromer of Huntington; stepmother, Linda Thompson of Pearland; sister and brother-in-law, Kresta and Brian Hollers of Lufkin; stepsisters and brother-in-law, Tiffany and Chris Travis of Pearland and Katie Kromer of Crockett; nieces, Layal Hollers of Houston, Sky Travis of Pearland and Presley Greenwood of Huntington; nephews, Braiden Hollers of Houston and Dalton Travis of Pearland; aunt, Tami Williams of Houston; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Don Thompson; grandparents, Damon and Addie Coleman, Earl and Margaret ""Dude"" Thompson; stepbrother, Jace Cordell; and aunt, Melba ""Auntie"" Tinsley.

Pallbearers will be Chad Greenville, Terry Sitze, Mike Coleman, Gerald Coleman, Dwayne Greenwood, Frank Williams and Chad Nerren.
