Georgia P. Repp

Funeral services for Georgia P. Repp, 90, of Lufkin, will be held Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Reverend Elton Musick officiating. Interment will follow in the Shofner Cemetery.
Mrs. Repp was born August 8, 1921 in Flint, Smith County, Texas, to the late Viola Hyddsia (Breedlove) and Harris Garland Beam. She died Monday, October 10, 2011 in a Lufkin hospital.
Mrs. Repp was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Repp was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church. Everyone who met her, loved her, and she loved them back. She had lived in Lufkin for the past 69 years.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Allen B. Repp of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Lynn Repp of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jerry Forrest of Clute; daughter, Wanda Gayle Repp of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, John Gary and Cathie Repp of Rocky Hill; daughter, Judy Kay Repp of Lufkin; eight grandchildren, Kelly Forrest Dawson and husband Brad, Missy and Danny Phillips, John Garland and Misty Repp, Chris and Amber Forrest, Jenna and Cameron Kurvin, Bryan and Christa Shiflet, Ira Shiflet and Shawn Shiflet; eleven great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Beam of Irving; sister, Gloria Northcott of Garland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Repp was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and a twin brother and sister who died at birth.
Pallbearers will be Chris Forrest, Bryan Shiflet, Ira Shiflet, Shawn Shiflet, Cameron Kurvin and Louis Beam, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Garland Repp, Danny Phillips, Brad Dawson and Phillip Beam.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
