Lunah Louise Von Cannon

Graveside services for Lunah Louise Von Cannon, 97, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, December 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Von Cannon was born September 17, 1914 in Ringold, Louisiana to the late Ella (Renfro) and Willie Twiggs Franklin. She died Friday, December 2, 2011 in a Lufkin nursing facility.
Mrs. Von Cannon had resided in Lufkin for the past five years and was a former longtime resident of Houston. She enjoyed fishing at Galveston Bay.
Survivors include her son, Robert Perry of Lufkin; one sister; and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Von Cannon, in 1985.
