Juanita (Smith) Wade Hutto

Funeral services for Juanita (Smith) Wade Hutto, 83, of Huntington will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Dr. Darryl Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Huntington Cemetery.

Mrs. Hutto was born November 7, 1928 in Huntington, Texas to the late Pauline (Thompson) and Arbie Smith, and died Friday, December 9, 2011 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Hutto was a lifetime resident of Huntington. She owned and operated Southway Gardens for 27 years and was a charter member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. She was a certified Texas Nurseryman and a charter member of the Huntington Women's Civic League.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Walters of Huntington; granddaughters and spouses, Jannah and Adam Nerren and Lisa and Shanin Vinson, all of Huntington; grandsons and spouses, Landon and Kathy McNeese of Huntington and Seth and Calley McNeese of Carthage; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Claire and Bryndan Nerren, Pierce, Parker and Lana Vinson, Breann and Jasper McNeese; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Betty Smith of Houston; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutto was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Wade and George Hutto; daughter, Teresa McNeese; great-granddaughter, Shelbi Nerren; and brothers, Ray and Burl Smith.

Pallbearers will be Keith Smith, Delton Smith, Wesley Smith, Adam Nerren, Shanin Vinson and Danny Wade.

Honorary pallbearers will be Benito Perez, Macario Salinas, Paulo Salinas and Roberto Martinez.
