Jimmie C Wise Parker

Graveside services for Jimmie C Wise Parker, 87, of Lufkin will be held Monday, December 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gann Cemetery with Reverend Clayton McClendon and Jimmy Dixon officiating.

Mrs. Parker was born July 4, 1924 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Dora Alice (Nobles) and Jim Crowder Dixon, and died Friday, December 23, 2011 in Wells.

Mrs. Parker resided in Lufkin most of her life. She owned and operated Jimmie's Beauty Shop for 31 years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mac and Terrie Wise of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Ronnie Smith of Wells; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Faye Stanfield of Lufkin, Liddie and Wayne Nerren and Joy Parker, all of Central; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Wise and Edd Parker; brothers, Truben Dixon and Jack Dixon; and sister, Juanita Young.

Pallbearers will be Clint Smith, Brady Smith, Brad Smith, Baylon Smith and Bristen Smith.

Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Mac Wise.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
