Memorial services for Charles Emmett Teutsch, 72, of Lufkin will be held Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Henderson Chapel of the First United Methodist Church of Lufkin with Senior Pastor D. Nick Sholars officiating. Private family interment will be held prior to the services in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mr. Teutsch was born December 13, 1939 in Huntington, Texas to the late Vita Mae (Freeman) and Robert James Teutsch, Sr., and died Friday, January 6, 2012 in a local hospital.
Mr. Teutsch was a lifetime resident of Lufkin. He retired from Lufkin Industries in the engineering department following 36 years of service. Mr. Teutsch was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lufkin.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Sara Beth Teutsch of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Randy Anderson of Round Rock; sons and daughters-in-law, Clint and Cherri Teutsch and Stuart and Krista Teutsch, all of Lufkin; grandchildren, Clayton Beers, Carianne Smith and husband Zack, Calianne Teutsch, Carolanne Teutsch and Korbin Teutsch; great-grandson, Caleb Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and John Waak of Lufkin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Nancy Moore of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Teutsch was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Teutsch, Jr.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 West Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
