Tim Stanley

Funeral services for Tim Stanley, 44, of Zavalla will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor Rusty West and Lee Dhone officiating. Interment will follow in the Kitchens Cemetery.

Mr. Stanley was born June 15, 1967 in Woodville, Texas to Earl and Betty (West) Stanley, and died Friday, February 3, 2012 in Zavalla, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Stanley was a lifetime resident of Zavalla and a 1986 graduate of Zavalla High School. He was employed with M-I Swaco. Mr. Stanley was a member and president of the Sunnydell Hunting Club, and was known for cooking for any and all benefits in the area.

Survivors include his daughter, Kaela Stanley and fiancé Danny Bundrick of Zavalla; son, Timothy Wayne (TJ) Stanley, Jr. and fiancée Miranda White of Zavalla; grandchildren, Aidan, Kaysen, Gavin, Alexis, Seth, Ayla and Slade; mother, Betty Stanley of Zavalla; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Belinda Stanley of Bedford, Druey and Robin Stanley of Lufkin and Jack and Deirdre Stanley of Wylie; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Stanley.

Pallbearers will be David Stanley, Druey Stanley, Jack Stanley, John Wylie, Larry Byars and Randall Massey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lee and Debbie Dhone, Troy Weaver, Brian Fountain, Kellon and Paula Harris, Joe Herrington, Ricky and Wanda Hollingsworth, Jason Gunn, Kevin Roebuck, Larry Paul Barber, members of the Sunnydell Hunting Club, co-workers at M-I Swaco, and more special friends too numerous to mention.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
