Patric W. Sheffield

A memorial mass and rosary for Patric W. Sheffield, 56, of Lufkin Friday, February 10, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Francis O'Dowd officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Sheffield was born August 17, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Beverly (Bordeaux) and Robert Sheffield, and died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Sheffield had resided in Lufkin for 31 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was a registered nurse at Memorial Medical Center. Mr. Sheffield enjoyed making rosaries and jewelry, making and teaching origami, and writing in calligraphy. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Sheffield of Lufkin; sons, Kevin Sheffield of Las Vegas, Nevada, Timothy Sheffield of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and Bryan Sheffield of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Gary Breland of Lufkin; granddaughter, Gabby Breland of Lufkin; mother, Beverly Thompson of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Angela Sheffield of Las Vegas, Nevada and Shaun and Patricia Sheffield of Munich, Germany; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Jim Goodrum of Houston; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sheffield; and stepfather, Robert Thompson.
