Florine Hambrick Mcclendon

Funeral services for Florine Hambrick McClendon, 86, of Diboll will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chet Strain officiating. Interment will follow in the Grimes Cemetery.

Mrs. McClendon was born December 29, 1925 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Bertie (Cryer) and Nick Hambrick, and died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in a local hospital. She was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. Mrs. McClendon was a member of The Church By Christ Jesus.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Carolyn McClendon, Gaylon and Karen McClendon and Roy Neal and Pam McClendon, all of Burke; grandchildren, Craig McClendon, Sandy Barfuss, Lori Toombs, Lisa McClendon, Dixie McClendon-Coker and Levi McClendon; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Connor McClendon, Jessie Lynn Barfuss, Ben McClendon, Starr, Skyler, and Sunny Larabell; brother, J.T. Hambrick of Beulah; sister, Betty Jo Morris of Monroe, Louisiana; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McClendon was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. McClendon; and sister, Lila Mae Strain.

Pallbearers will be Billy McClendon, Gaylon McClendon, Roy Neal McClendon, Craig McClendon, Levi McClendon and Ben McClendon.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
