Audie Suggs

Graveside services for Audie ""Hogans"" Suggs, 51, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fielder Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Reynolds officiating.

Audie was born December 4, 1960 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Burney Son and Vernell (Rasberry) Suggs, and died Thursday, March 1, 2012 in Lufkin. He was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and was a carpenter. Audie was a member of the Huntington First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Suggs of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathan and Alicia Suggs of Lufkin and Cody and Jodie Suggs of Huntington; stepsons, Justin Wade of Huntington and Roy Wade and wife Megan of Diboll; grandchildren, Tuff Strickland, River Crawford, Kayde Mae Suggs, Khloe Kay Suggs, all of Lufkin, Katie Husband of Huntington, Kallie Husband of Central and Austin Palomo of Hudson; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Janice Suggs of Huntington; sisters, Eva Ainsworth of Louisiana and Dinnie Mitchell of Huntington; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Audie was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Suggs; and sister, Muka Guthery.

Pallbearers will be Cecil Shivers, Justin Riddles, Lupe Perez, Sam Wells, Kevin Strickland and Brent Hyde.

Honorary pallbearers will be Heath Raines, Bobby Guthery, Jr., Little Audie Guthery, Robert Wells and Kenneth Earl Raines.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the Huntington First Assembly of God Church.
