Funeral services for Rebecca Nora Davenport, 44, of Diboll will be held Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Frankens officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Davenport was born December 27, 1967 in Lufkin, Texas to Roland and Mary (Reppond) McDonald, and died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her residence. She had resided in Diboll for 14 years.
Rebecca was a wonderful mother of five and an incredible Mammi of two. She loved all her children and grandchildren with a deep, deep passion. She enjoyed her life and would always tell you she loved you. She was a true deer hunter at heart, and would go fish a day away when she could. She always enjoyed a good movie, cooking a good meal, and just having a good time. She touched all she knew and she will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Chad Davenport of Diboll; daughters, Nikki Turner and husband Johnathan, Samantha Johnson and Priscilla Davenport, all of Diboll; sons, Gage Davenport and Derrick W. Bryan, both of Diboll; grandchildren, Ean Turner and Emma Turner, both of Diboll; parents, Roland and Mary McDonald of Hudson; sisters, Laura McQueen and husband Steve and Sue McDonald, all of Hudson; brother, Joseph McDonald and wife Shelia of Hudson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy and Deloris Davenport of Diboll; sister-in-law, Annette Davenport of Leggett; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Levi Havard, Dalton Havard, Johnathan Turner, Josh Seger, Larry Alan Davenport and Bill Henley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Hood, Eric Chinn and Phil Free.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
