Joel Thomas Gresham

Memorial services for Joel Thomas Gresham, Jr., 43, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bob Smith officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Gresham was born January 17, 1969 in Lufkin, Texas to Iris Yvonne (Neely) and Joel Thomas Gresham, Sr., and died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Center.

Mr. Gresham was a lifetime resident of Lufkin. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed with Terminix. Mr. Gresham was a collector of wolf art, and he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 6 1/2 years, Crystal Rita Gresham of Lufkin; son, Derek Rita of Lufkin; daughter, Tiara Rita of Lufkin; brothers, Norman Williams of Diboll and David Renfro; sister, Debra Smith; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Thomas Gresham, Sr.; and brother, John Williams.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
