Carmen H. Dukes

Graveside services for Carmen H. Dukes, 90, of Lufkin will be held Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin, Texas with Brother Eddie Roberts officiating.

Mrs. Dukes was born February 20, 1922 in Batson, Texas to the late Erma (Garrard) and Carmon G. Mosley, and died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in a local nursing home. She had resided in Lufkin for 27 years and was a member of the Fuller Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Jimmie Passmore of Lufkin; son, Donald Dukes of Lynchburg, Virginia; granddaughters, Leanna Bryan of Liberty, Amanda Melville of Hillsboro, Oregon and Donna Dukes of California; three great-grandchildren; and special niece and husband, Jo Lynn and Calvin Scarbrough of Diboll.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fuller Springs Baptist Church, 5003 Fuller Springs Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75901.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
