Sharon Kay Minshew

Memorial services for Sharon Kay Minshew, 41, of Lufkin will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wayne Stallings officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Ms. Minshew was born July 14, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas to Robert B. and Sandra (Reed) Scott, and died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at her residence. She was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and was an agent for Davis Insurance for 15 years. Ms. Minshew was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Jordan Minshew of Lufkin; mother, Sandy Scott of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Darlene Scott of Lufkin; sister, Carol Scott of Charleston, South Carolina; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert B. Scott; grandparents; and aunt.
