La Nelle P. Jircik

Graveside services for La Nelle P. Jircik, 91, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cleveland City Cemetery with Jim Muckleroy officiating.
La Nelle was born June 21, 1920 in Cleveland, Texas to the late Frances Marie (Wiesner) and Vlastimil Jircik. She died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in a Lufkin hospice facility.
La Nelle was a retired registered nurse. She served her country in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, which included service during World War II. Miss Jircik had lived in Lufkin for more than five years.
Survivors include her sister, Helen Westerman of Angleton; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Nancy Jircik of Houston; brother, Clayton Jircik of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Victor and Anne Jircik of Calgary, Canada; sister, Vivian Muckleroy of West Monroe, Louisiana; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Jircik.
