Jeffery Lynn Havard

Funeral services for Jeffery Lynn ""Jeff"" Havard, 53, of Zavalla will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Dr. John W. Greene and Donna Caples officiating. Interment will follow in the Tom Havard Cemetery.

Mr. Havard was born December 26, 1958 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Thursday, April 26, 2012 in a local hospital. He was a 1977 graduate of Lufkin High School and was employed at Al Myer Ford. Mr. Havard was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Mekayla Faith Havard of Round Rock; parents, Medford M. and Alice (Irvin) Havard of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Larry Caples of Lufkin; brother, Dale Havard of Lufkin; grandmother, Ella McGuire Irvin of Lufkin; and a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Ray Burke; and grandparents, Thomas Irvin, O.B. Havard, Ruth Bell Havard Landrum and Alton Landrum.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Vann, Gary Seaman, Larry Caples, Richard Caples, Paul Smith and David Sullivan.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 West Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904, or to a church of your choice.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
