Hall H. Stewart

Graveside services for Hall H. Stewart, 79, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jarrett Cemetery in the Turney Community near Jacksonville with Reverend Tom Moore and Reverend D.L. Stewart officiating.

Mr. Stewart was born June 5, 1932 in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Delbert Lowe and Jeffie (Hall) Stewart, and died Saturday, April 28, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mr. Stewart served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Germany. He was a Highway Patrol Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety for 32 years. Mr. Stewart was a member of the Nazarene church.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Romelda Stewart of Lufkin; children and their spouses, Randy and Kathy Stewart, Sandra and Mark Dearing, Marvin and Alisha Stewart, Belisa and Matt Haas, all of Lufkin; grandchildren, Chelsey Stewart of Lufkin, Dustin Stewart of Austin, Issac Dearing and wife Delania, Jacob Dearing, Patrick Stewart, Samantha Stewart, Stewart Haas, Grace Haas, Dawson Haas and Chapman Haas, all of Lufkin; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Cassie, Kristina, Kim, Asher and Ryan; brother and sister-in-law, D.L. and Alice Stewart of Concord; sisters, Retta Crim, Vivian Jimerson and Bobbie Tatum, all of Henderson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
